Culture
The cover is a room you can walk into
This Week's Cover treats the frame as a room: one picture, a week of culture inside it, and the names that stay after the issue closes.

The week starts when the frame is finished. Everything else — the interviews, the arguments, the songs — has to find a place inside that rectangle.
A cover is not a poster. A poster shouts from across the street. A cover asks you to come closer, then to stay long enough to read the name under the picture. The room is small. That is the point.
The cover is the door. The story is the room behind it.
What the frame keeps
Issue 42 holds one lead and three desks. Culture takes the room. Music waits until Friday. Style is cut on Monday and judged by Sunday. The picture does not explain them. It gives them a wall.
